Tom met his wife Kristine in Minnesota when she was completing her doctorate in Psychology and he was working for a defense contractor as a database programmer. An opportunity to move back to the east coast presented itself when Kris took a job at Villanova University in 2001.They now manage a psychology practice with 34 employees which has given Tom a deep appreciation for the needs of small business owners in communities such as Lower Providence.
Tom and Kris settled in Audubon in 2007 to raise their two children, Aleah and Zander who are now in the 7th and 9th grade. Avid gardeners, the Boward family enjoys spending time outdoors tending to their chickens, working in their garden, pursuing creative carpentry projects, and exploring hiking and nature areas. They are grateful to live in a community with the open space, trails, and parks that Lower Providence has to offer its residents.
